About Koimori
Koimori is a gentle desktop idle companion for Windows and macOS. Tiny koi wander across the screen while their owner works, studies, or relaxes. The game is intentionally quiet: it avoids pings, urgent chores, punishment, and attention-grabbing progress bars. Players can interact when they feel like it and let the pond drift in the background when they are doing something else.
How it began
Aurélien Dos Santos, an independent developer based in Toulouse, France, first made Koimori as a personal gift. Friends kept the early build running for days while they worked, which showed that its small, calming presence could be meaningful to more people. The project grew into a polished desktop application with better performance, more koi, feeding interactions, and focus-friendly ideas that preserve the original calm mood.
Current status
Koimori is in active development for Windows and macOS. Its Steam page is open for wishlists, while the exact release date, price, and final progression design remain to be announced. Please check out the website, the Steam page and the press kit for the latest information.
